Dave is a writer composer who has over twenty years in the music business. He has written jingles for Chevy Trucks, Wendy’s Hamburgers and Interstate Battery just to name a few. In that world Dave is an ADDY award winning composer. Other credits include: composing award winning electronic music scores for dance and original compositions for cause oriented events including the Emily Hunt Gala, an annual event that raises funds for spinal cord injury research.
Orchestrations for big album projects are also in Dave’s experience as is noted in the samples section. These pieces represent Dave’s ability to compose, orchestrate and conduct music in the orchestral environment. Naturally, these skills show up when orchestrating inside the computer with his string, woodwind, brass and percussion libraries.
Dave loves creating sound design as well. Listen to his samples on the samples page. Ambient soundscapes, sonic textures and anything that creates the right mood for an ID piece or video or to sweeten up a rock track is what this is all about.
Dave is simply a music lover. While earning his masters degree Dave studied music technology and electronic music privately with Dr. Cleve Scott – the founder of the highly touted Music Technology program at Ball State University.
